New Single and New Album

Mr. President's was sort of silent for more than a year!!! Finally they are back with a brand new single "Give A Little Love" recorded in DISCO-HOUSE style hitting immediately TOP 10 in Germany. New album called "Space Gate" followed immediately. This is a truly spectacular album to please many of you who missed the dance side of the group. 12 BRAND NEW tracks with very dramatic intro and outro. Mr. President's single called "JoJo Action" is an old news for most of you. The group tried to repeat their success with "Coco Jamboo" a hit that is one year old (5 gold records, 2 platinum). Similar to "Coco Jamboo", the new single is also recorded in Euro-Reggae style. You gotta listen this one couple of time to start like it. Interstingly "JoJo Action" was recorded before "Coco Jamboo" but never made it to their 1996 We See The Same Sun album. So what was happening with the group. Lady Danii spent some time with the new group Reset. I hope you have visted my Review Page and read about recent single by Reset called "You Got The Key". Mr. President took a vacation between July 26 and August 10, 1997. Rest of the time they spent working in Finnland. Group is preparing for their tour promotinng a new album called: Night Club. T-7 have changed image. Now she wears a short hair as you see on the left in the current picture, finally giving up on her artificial tresses.

In the end of August '97 Mr. President released a new album: Night Club. As the group is saying, they were working on this album for over the year starting with "JoJo Action" back in February of 1996 (Yes! 1996). In the inlet of the album members of the group gives some background stories for each song. For instance, you will learn that some sound used in the album have been recorded by the group in Times Square when they stayed in New York City back in 1996. August 22, 1997 was the day of the premier of the video to Mr. President's, the newest single: "Take Me To The Limit" that is being released on September 5th, 1997. Very sexual and provocative video (I personally seriously doubt we will see it here in U.S. The price we have to pay for oversensitive public).

The group is now preparing for their US tour as well to Nightclub Live Tour they are starting in November 1997. Show full of magic and sexual explicity.

Is Mr. President really Mr. President?

The question that pops in many minds right now: Does Mr. President's career is over? Many of you might ask why is that? Press is full of gossips that dark-skinned Delroy and two sexy girls: Judith and Daniel cannot sing and in fact the voices on the Mr. President's records belong to somebody else. The Hamburg's leading and well known magazine STERN reports that whole scandal started in German Radio station "Bremen 4. During the air program where members of Mr. President were interviewed, presenter asked them to perform on live and acapella (no background music) one of their recent hit "I Give you My Heart". They did. The presented version was very far from the original one we all know. Morever, it was one big flap! The members of the group could hardly sing and forged the sound. It could be possible that all memebers of the group had soar throat. After this program the gossips started to spread that the Mr. President members are only "packaging" the real voices belong to other people. As a matter of fact STERN gave out the names of real singers: Anne Schroeder, Karen Mueller and William King. In the opinion of German journalists, the trio earn money for their sexy look. In the time where VIDEO became a standard for music industry, look became more important than music and also the mixing technic became very sophisticated. These days it is possible using computerized technology to alter any voice and make it sound "right". The problem usually starts when the group become very popular and everybody want to see them in live. We all rememeber what happened to Milli Vanilii, is Mr. President is going to face similar end if entire story is true.

The group denies these accustations. Eurodance Hits WWW brought you this story based on articles published in STERN and POPCORN magazines. I will keep you informed on the development. I am personally fan of this group and hope that the whole thing is a gossip. If not, I will be truly dissapointed.

Girls from Mr. President got themselves tatoos! It took some persuasion though. T 7 was the one who wanted to get a tatoo. She told Danii: "C'mon Danii, it's not going to be that bad"! Danni T was reluctant: "Shhesh, It's going to be painful! And on the top of it I hate seeing blood". T 7 didn't give up: "You are a coward! C'mom! These couple stings is nothing. Look everyone else could handle it! I am going to do it anyway, even without you!" . Danii didn't resist too long and she said: "OK, Let's go! I will do it too". They called Tatoo Studio "David" that was located couple blocks from the office of their manageg in Bremen to have an appointment. They also called Lazy Dee, a male partner from the group. T 7 got her idea to get tatoo from one she saw a while back in the picture of Shannen Doherty published in German magazine BRAVO. On their way to Tatoo Studio there were talking what kind of tatoos they want and places where to put them. T7 wanted to have a picture on her arm and Danii T thought of er breast. They were undecided about the kind of tatoos until they arrived to studio. She got a catalog of different tatoos and finally made up their mind. T7 loved the picture of black panther with green eyes. She said: "This panther is like me. Typical cat choosing own ways in life, cuddlish and always ready for action!" Danii chosen a little cute lion with blue eyes. "This is a symbol of my personality. Soft, happy and eager to play. But if needed can show claws".

Mr. President recently recorded a video clip for their hot hit called "I Give You my Heart" that is a follow-up to their ultra Summer '96 hit "Coco Jamboo" What is in the clip? Danii is a cashier in the movie theater.Her attention caught a dark-haired guy who bought the ticket. Their eyes locked for a second, he smiled to Danii and left. Dissapointed Danii still was looking at him until he dissapeared in the theater. She decided to follow him into the dark hall of the theatre. She spotted him in the first row and decided to sit in the empty seat on his left side (what a coincidence, isn't it?). In the movie Marylin Monroe plays a leading role. The darkhaire guy cannot concentrate his attention on the movie any longer and turned his face toward Danii. They start looking deep at each other eyes. and their hands start touching. His hand is starting stroking Danii's naked neck. Soon after they cuddled together and video is getting quite steamed. No it is not a pornographic clip, rather an erotic one. The only thing you could see later are black stockings and suspenders weared by Danii. For Danii to make this clip was a weird experience, especially to kiss somebody upfront of the camera. Danii and Gregor (the guy who played the mate role in this clip) met just few hours before they made the clip together. Gregor is a 20 years Austrian actor from Vienna. The localization of the clip is a movie theater taken from '50s. Other members of the Mr. President crue are also part of the clip. Lazy is the projector operator and T checks the valid tickets. Video clip was recorded in the end of June 1996 in the one of Vienna's theater. Screenplay was written by T (Seven). This clip is about unhappy love affair.. All the "love scenes" are dream Danni had. She wakes up in the end of the clp alone in her ticket booth. When T wrote the screen, she purposely located it in '50s. The belle epoque of "Marilyn Monroe" was very romantic in her opinion. Everybody loved her so much. T says that this video clip helped her to fulfil her dreams to become at least once like her. T pretty much resembles Marylin's look.

Mr. President during the summer is in European Tournee including: Germany, Austria and Poland.
